Caroline Hvozdovic, SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
About Me
Caroline Hvozdovic is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping children develop their communication skills, build confidence, and connect with the world around them. She earned her Master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University in 2023 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey.
Caroline has experience working with children with a variety of communication needs, including early language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, and stuttering. She also has extensive experience working with autistic children and implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to support each child’s unique communication needs. She is passionate about helping every child find their voice, whether through spoken language, gestures, AAC, or other forms of communication.
Caroline believes that meaningful progress begins with connection. She prioritizes building a trusting, supportive relationship with each child, recognizing that children learn best when they feel safe, understood, and motivated to participate. Her approach to therapy is child-led, play-based, and individualized, allowing her to incorporate each child’s interests, strengths, and needs into meaningful therapeutic experiences.
Caroline strives to create a positive and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to explore, communicate, and grow at their own pace. She values collaboration with families and caregivers and believes that supporting communication beyond the therapy session is an essential part of helping children succeed.
Above all, Caroline truly loves what she does and feels privileged to be part of each child’s communication journey. Her goal is to help every child build the skills and confidence they need to express themselves, form meaningful connections, and thrive in their everyday lives.
