Meet Darlene Kuzloski, LAC
About Me
I believe every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and reach their fullest potential. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges.'
What is Your Therapeutic Approach?
My approach is grounded in a neurobiology-informed, person-centered framework that recognizes the interconnectedness of the brain, body, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I believe that understanding how the nervous system responds to stress, adversity, and relational experiences can provide meaningful insight into emotional and behavioral patterns and support the development of effective coping and self-regulation skills.
I integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, adapting interventions to each client's developmental stage, presenting concerns, strengths, and individual goals. My work with children, adolescents, and adults is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on establishing a safe and trusting the therapeutic relationship.
Through a relational and strengths-based approach, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, adaptive coping strategies, and resilience. Therapy is tailored to meet each individual where they are while fostering meaningful growth, increased confidence, and the skills necessary to navigate life's challenges and build healthier relationships.

What I Love Most About Being a Therapist: The greatest joy of being a therapist is witnessing people discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and grow into the healthiest, most authentic version of themselves. Walking alongside clients during that journey is both a privilege and an inspiration.
