About Me
I'm Dr. Ahmad Hassan, a board-certified psychiatrist trained in both general and child and adolescent psychiatry. I serve as Medical Director of an Emergency Psychiatry Service at an academic teaching hospital and as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. Working in emergency psychiatry has given me deep experience assessing and stabilizing people in acute distress, and I bring that same clarity and steadiness to my work with patients here.
Before this role, I served as Medical Director of Child and Adolescent Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. That work gave me extensive experience collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals, and a deep understanding of how mental and physical health shape one another in a patient's care.
